The Dizzy Project

This project, later to become known as The Dizzy Project, first and foremost had an interesting and creative brief - the garden was to be inspired by our clients around-the-world travels, creating various zones within the garden that would include an element that resembled or reminded them of their favourite travel destinations.

From Outback Australia to Central America, and everywhere in-between, subtle nostalgic hints were incorporated into this space, allowing our clients to be transported back to their favourite destinations around the globe every time they stepped foot outside.

Stone steps with built‑in lights leading up to a patio area, surrounded by green shrubs and ornamental grasses.

With a colourful and eclectic planting palette to support that, all elements within this space come together harmoniously to create a sentimental, warm and inviting family garden.

Matt and his team transformed our bare yard into a lovely garden haven. He was very happy to work with our plan for the garden and discuss all the options with us, and made excellent suggestions which really enhanced the garden, particularly the railway sleeper sculpture. Matt and his staff were always friendly, polite and easy to work with.

A juxtaposition between natives, ferns, perennials, succulents, evergreens, ornamental grasses, and deciduous trees, make up this contemporary planting palette, one which is contrasting in both nature and layout.
