The Beach Shack

Perched high up on the hill, and just steps away from one of Sydneys iconic beaches — Freshwater Beach, The Beach Shack is family beachside living at its best.

With young children, and of course their family fur baby, our clients wanted to merge their laid back coastal interiors with their front and back gardens, and bring a sense of indoor-outdoor living to their property.

A light, bright and neutral coastal palette was at the forefront of this design, with a strong consideration on the juxtaposition between hardscape and softscape elements. A hardscape colour palette incorporating white and natural timber allowed for the perfect coastal backdrop for a dense and abundant planting palette with an edge.

Uncomplicated in its design, The Beack Shack really adopts the term ‘less is more’, granting a  focus on functionality, embodying laid-back coastal living.

Matt and his team delivered a premium service that went beyond the original scope of work. While we struggled with some other trades during our build, Outdoor Escape stood out as a company we could count on and turn to for advice.
